We are so pleased to formally invite you to JOIN US for our 4th Annual Family Life Conference at Christian Life Center South Bend, where we are committed to loving people to their next place in God. Each year, as a church family, we bring families together at every age and stage during the most transitional time for families as summer ends, school begins again, and support systems for the family are needed more than ever for the year ahead. When we began this Family Life Conference out of obedience to the Lord four years ago, we challenged EVERY PERSON to KNOW their tribe and CHOOSE that the tribe God has called us to would live for HIS GLORY! This tribe is not limited by blood or family of origin or status of single, married, empty nester, mom, aunt, dad, grandad, etc., but this tribe is divinely connected by those God has called us to be FAMILY “FOR.”
Our Family Life Conference for 2024 is August 2 - 4th, 2024. We have a theme this year of “LOVE SQUARED,” which is a continuation of last year's theme, “A MORE EXCELLENT WAY.” Mark 12:30-31: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.”
Here is a rough draft of our itinerary for the weekend, and we invite you to let us know your availability for this weekend.
Friday, August 2nd – Prayer, Worship & Conference Kick Off / 6:30-8:00pm
Saturday, August 3rd – Continental Breakfast, Worship, & Break-outs / 8:00am-1:00pm
Saturday Afternoon Special Segments – Heart before Art (Holy Spirit & Expressions of the Arts) / 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Saturday Evening – Special Worship, Prayer & Impartation Service / 6:30 PM
Sunday, August 4th – Sunday Morning Worship Experience @ 10AM / LUNCH - immediately following worship
For the Family Life Conference (FLC), CLCSB partners with HeartLife Ministries to accomplish this vision together. We want to continue to bridge the gaps between generations within the family, create some spaces for impartation in the presence of God, and see salvation, healing, and deliverance within our families. We want to seek God for what He ONLY specifically has charged each generation within our lifetimes while honoring the generation before us and behind us. We want to embrace our part in what we have to give and receive for the tribe we have influence and responsibility over while respecting other generations for their part for God’s glory.

What is the Family Life Conference all about?
Vision – My Tribe: His Glory….Our Family Life Conference welcomes all families together in one place to remind us all that “Family” is God’s idea and each role within the family has a unique purpose regardless of birth order, status, position, or even the “how” you became a part of a Family. We believe that God is stirring the hearts of His people and inviting us to say “YES,” beginning first with our own family and recognizing the lifeline “WE” are called to be to our generation and the next through our prayers, voice, stance, witness, and willingness to declare MY TRIBE (will live and be for) HIS GLORY!
Family Life Conference Objective:
Engaging, Empowering, Enlisting, & Equipping every believer in the Family of God at every age and every stage to know & do our part in bringing glory to God through our lives, home, church, relationships, and the community we are uniquely called & gifted to impact for the Kingdom.
